The Lunchtime Recital Series

The Lunchtime Concert series showcases a wide range of musical talent, offering the perfect break from your hectic daily routine. Taking place at 1pm at Great St Mary’s, these concerts explore an impressive range of music from Byrd, Beethoven and Brahms to Debussy, Grieg and Vaughan Williams. This year’s programme is looking particularly diverse, featuring flute, choir, violin, cello, piano, organ and even a harp.

Performers range from young students gaining performance experience to large visiting college choirs from America. Many of the recitalists are experienced performers trying out new programmes and include regular members from our own choir.

There is a retiring collection for the GSM Music Fund.

If you would like to give a recital, contact the Music Department, at We are currently taking bookings for recitals in 2017
